Australia’s Splendour In The Grass Festival has been postponed by three months due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Australia’s premier mid-winter music festival, Splendour in the Grass 2020 was originally scheduled to be held at North Byron Parklands during July 23-25. The new dates are October 23, 24 and 25.
“In response to the Federal governments ban on public gatherings in excess of 500 pax and in these unpredictable times, in an effort to ensure a safe Splendour in the Grass experience, we will reschedule the 20th anniversary edition to the new dates in October,” the organizers said in a statement.
Flume, The Strokes and Tyler, The Creator, who were originally scheduled to perform, have confirmed their attendance for these new dates alongside most other artists.
All tickets purchased for the original July dates are valid for entry on the new October dates.
Ticketholders who are not able to attend the new dates will be able to apply for a refund from Moshtix.
