Christine McGuinness has revealed her mother is “doing incredibly well” after she completed two rounds of breast cancer treatment.

The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star, 33, shared a sweet snap of the mother-daughter duo in a loving embrace after her mum completed chemotherapy and radiotherapy on Wednesday.

Christine captioned the heartfelt post with a touching tribute to her mother as she celebrated the end of her six-month treatment.

The model, who recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary with her husband Paddy McGuinness, made the most of the glorious English weather and took a snap together in her back garden to remember the memorable moment.

She wrote: “Ma. ‘Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and loved more thank you know.’

“So many of you ask about my mum, she is doing amazingly well, I’m so proud of her.

“Chemotherapy and radiotherapy is done now it’s time for her to enjoy life.”

Fans were quick to congratulate her brave mother, and flooded her comments with well wishes, as one user wrote: “Mummy looks so beautiful, so glad she’s doing well, makes me smile so much. What a lovely picture of you both.

Another added: “This makes me so happy that you got to reunite with your mum … as someone who is battling breast cancer myself family is everything xx”

A third chimed: “Wow you look like sisters, glad your Mum is doing well x”

This comes after Christine, who recently led celebrities to strip down to their bikinis during the spring heatwave, broke down in tears of joy after her mother officially completed her radiotherapy treatment in March and was finally allowed to see her family again.

The pair hadn’t been able to see each other for eight months after her mother was advised to self-isolate while she received the vital cancer treatment since she was diagnosed last year.

Christine shared a beautiful reunion photo from their back garden of family all holding hands as they soaked up the sun.

She gushed over how proud she was of her “unbelievably strong” mum as she continues to fight cancer during a global pandemic.

Christine wrote: "We had the most magical day. It’s been 8 long months without seeing my mum, my babies extra special nanny! Today was just perfect.

“Lots of you ask for updates on my mum, she has completed 6 months chemotherapy and is waiting for a start date for her radiotherapy.

“She has also had her first Covid vaccine and is feeling pretty good within herself.

“My mum is unbelievably strong, doing this through lockdown and with a smile, she just amazes me!"

She concluded: “And I know the hardest part of it all was being away from the kiddies, they just love her to the moon and stars and back.”
