Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson and her friends were reportedly branded “f***ing h**s” after they accidentally sat on another customer’s scarf. According to a source, the clash then escalated with “lots of shouting” between one of the popstar’s friends and the woman in question last Friday.

The 30-year-old is said to have apologised to staff at the venue over the disruption when she left.

A source told MailOnline of the encounter: “Jesy was taken back when a friend she was out with became embroiled in a row after a random stranger branded them a ‘bunch of h**s’.”

The singer is believed to have stayed out of the argument and remained dignified.

“Her friend left immediately after the verbal abuse was hurled at the group but Jesy remained in the venue and continued her evening,” the insider added.

They added she was “shaken up” by the verbal abuse.

An onlooker also told The Sun: “They had sat on it without knowing. It was a bit awkward but things seemed to calm down quickly.

“Then the girl called Jesy a ‘f***ing ho’ and it escalated with lots of shouting.” has contacted a representative for Jesy for comment.

Last week, the singer hit the headlines after cosy pictures of her and actor Lucien Laviscount emerged.

Jesy was seen getting close to the Emily In Paris star in the back of a rickshaw in London on Saturday night.

In one picture, she and the 29-year-old were pictured laughing together, while another saw her leaning towards him during the cosy display.

The X Factor winner is said to have been “mortified” by the pictures.

It was later revealed that Lucien had once dated her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Jesy recently admitted she hadn’t spoken to her former girl group pals since leaving in December 2020.

She has since moved on as a solo artist and released her single Boyz in October.

On her Instagram page yesterday, she teased fans about her upcoming new music.

The popstar shared snaps of herself in a studio with a friend and singing into a microphone.

Taking to her Instagram Story, she also shared a video of a track being made.

Jesy has previously said she would like to release her own album following the success of Boyz.

The single was based on P Diddy’s hit Bad Boys For Life, which featured him and Nicki Minaj.
