The summer weather may be hit and miss at the moment but as the coronavirus pandemic continues, families are looking to make the most of their gardens if they’re lucky enough to have one. Aldi’s Specialbuys have continued to be released each week as usual during the lockdown, and this week the shop is launching outdoor items that will keep kids entertained. The new batch of Specialbuys are available to buy online now.

Every week the budget supermarket reveals its latest products that cover all types of categories, from gardening to motoring and even beauty goods.
This week Aldi’s Specialbuys are all in the Outdoor Play category, with toys and accessories that will keep the kids happy as they stay in lockdown.
The new range was available online from Sunday, but will be in stores from tomorrow, May 14.
Prices start at just £4.99 for a Hooded Poncho Towel with popular characters on it including Peppa Pig and Toy Story.

However, the standout items are really the games that will make sure children can burn off some energy when they get out into the garden.
In store tomorrow, shoppers can buy a Plum Monkey Swing Seat, Trapeze or Rope Ladder for just £5.99 – a cheap way to give kids something new to play on.
There’s also a Championship Swingball for £19.99, and a Kids’ Wooden Playhouse with Slide for £174.99 which has already sold out online.
The Specialbuys are always limited, so customers are fast to snap them up before they’re gone.

However, those looking to give their garden a makeover with new outdoor furniture should be ready for the next product release on Sunday, May 17.
With some products available to buy online already, the new garden range offers everything from tools to outdoor seating.
The most expensive – and impressive – item is the Contemporary Garden Coffee Set for £299.99, which has a steel and wicker design with a glass topped table.
For those looking to update the furniture they already have, the modern range includes Pom Pom Bench Seat Pads for just £14.99 in four different colours.

There’s also a classic Wooden Bench Love Seat for £69.99, and parasols in different colours from just £24.99.
Shoppers can buy a weighted base separately, or as a set.
Keen gardeners will love the Wooden Crate Planter, £4.99 and Framed Square Natural Willow Trellis, £4.99, and hanging baskets can be picked up for as little as £2.99.
Even those who aren’t so green-fingered can enjoy the new collection, with artificial blossom trees that have built-in solar lights available for £14.99.
Packs of solar lights on their own start at just £1.99 too, so shoppers can brighten up their space with minimal effort.
Aldi has recently announced a change to its Specialbuys, with not all items available to purchase in store.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused the supermarket to review its rules and policies in recent weeks, and the Specialbuys are usually available in the middle part of the store in baskets, with larger items on display.
However, Aldi has made the move to make sure all items are available online, with only some going into stores.
The weekly leaflet has now gone digital too, with an online version available so shoppers can browse without making the journey unnecessarily.
