Boxing Day horse racing tips: Red-hot Templegate's King George Chase Nap plus best bets at Kempton

TEMPLEGATE turns his eagle eye to a bonanza of Boxing Day racing action.

Read on to find out who he thinks will land the spoils – and give you an post-Christmas bonus.

CLAN DES OBEAUX (3.00 Kempton, NAP)

Can win the battle of Paul Nicholls’ superstars to land a third King George success. It should be a cracker between him and Cyrname who will be a lot closer than the 21 lengths he was beaten by 12 months ago.

But Clan comes alive at Kempton and ran a cracker when second in the Betfair Chase at Haydock last time.

That was a pretty hard race but his trainer will have left something to work on and this is his season’s target.

HOLD THE NOTE (1.15 Kempton, NB)

Runs over this trip for the first time since his third at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

He has failed to see out three miles this season after travelling well earlier in the races.

He is 5lb lower than that Prestbury Park effort as a result and is capable of bouncing back.
