Cheeky shoppers in hysterics at phallic decor that should come with batteries

Bargain hunters couldn’t stop laughing when they found a rude-looking ornament in a pound shop.

The home decor is very phallic – and shopper Amy couldn’t resist snapping a picture of it.

She posted it on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, where it gave dirty-minded Facebook users a lot of laughs.

While the nick-nack is is meant to resemble a mushroom, people think it looks phallic.

One commenter admitted: “I didn’t think mushroom when I saw it could just be my dirty mind.”

Another said: “Omg I saw this and said to my husband ‘that's a funny looking mushroom’.”

Others couldn’t resist making cheeky jokes.

A Facebook user laughed: “Looks like something to play with.”

Another said: “Wonder if you get batteries with it.”

A third giggled: “That looks a wee funguy.”

And another worried someone would mistake the item for a sex toy and end up in A&E, joking: “Coming to a hospital near you!”

Amusingly, this isn't the only unfortunate-looking bargain to go viral recently.

Earlier this month, a pharmacy worker couldn’t stop giggling after spotting a phallic mug in her local charity shop.

Many thought the £1 cup looked like a man's todger – but the shopper couldn't resist buying it.

In similar news, a man who bought a music-themed T-shirt was left red-faced after realising it looks rude.

It shows a vinyl playing on a record, with the handle placed on a very cheeky body part.

The hilarious post racked up 48,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments on Reddit.
