Sunbathers can earn £200 a week to put their feet up at home and get free furniture

Sunbathing has finally made a return after a mini-heatwave continues to sweep Britain with scorching temperatures.

The taste of the warm weather has had everyone digging out their garden furniture but imagine if you could get paid for putting your feet up while basking in the sunshine?

Garden Furniture specialist,, has posted a job advert for a team of five professional sunbathers to join their “Parasol Patrol” team.

The aim of the role is to review their upcoming garden products for comfort, style, practicality and overall value and the team will be sent sun loungers, outdoor furniture, cushions, parasols and other garden accessories.

Meanwhile the five successful (and very lucky) applicants will also be covered for “sunbathing essentials” including sun cream, food and drink so they can full immerse themselves in the task at hand.

The five professional sunbathers will work five days a week as part of the in-house team and earn a whopping £40 an hour for simply soaking up the rays in their comfort of their garden.

However, the team must re-apply SPF 50 every two hours and is obliged to not work any longer than three hours across an entire day.

There are no qualifications required for the job but the applicants must be living in the UK, be over 18, and have a garden of outdoor space with “good sun exposure”.

The team are looking for sunbathers to start “as soon as possible” in order to make the most of the high UK temperatures and applications close on Friday 11 June.

Kate Fromings from, according to WalesOnline, said: “We haven’t had the best luck with the weather over the last couple of months, however according to the forecasts we are in for some much-needed sun.

"We are always looking to improve our products and have a few exciting things in the pipeline, so we thought why not take advantage and put our products to the ultimate test

"In my opinion, there is nothing better than relaxing in the sun, so we’re expecting a lot of people to apply to be a part of our Parasol Patrol team. "
