Bachelorette star Hannah Brown saves a man from ‘drowning’ while whitewater rafting – The Sun

HANNAH Brown saved a man from "drowning" while she and her family were water rafting in Tennessee.

Aside from being the Bachelorette and a Dancing With the Stars winner, she can now add lifeguard to her resume.

Hannah, 25, apparently saved a man who had been dragged by the current.

A woman took to Twitter to reveal the news as she wrote: "How fun Hannah Brown saved my boyfriend from drowning in the Ocoee River today."

She continued to explain the situation when a follower asked her for more details and said: "She was on the river with us …

"Our raft flipped, and her and her family were on the trip with us. She ended up pulling my bf onto their raft after the current took him.

"I didn’t know who she was but her mom said she had just won DWTS and that she was the Bachelorette!"

Hannah's brother, Patrick, also verified the story when he posted a picture of the two at Ocoee Paddleboarding & Watersports.

He captioned the photo: "Took on the rapids with the fam jam! I got to relive my lifeguard days and Hannah thinks she’s apart of the Coast Guard now… #rescuemission."

Hannah's new job as lifeguard comes just one day after she congratulated Matt James on becoming the next Bachelor.

After news broke of his new role, she took to Instagram to celebrate him with a picture of the two.

She wrote: "Matt James is the Bachelor.

"I cannot contain my excitement for this amazing human making history as the first Black Bachelor – to God be the Glory!
"This man is as good as it gets y’all, and that’s coming from a previous skeptic (lolz). I am so blessed to now call you friend.

"You’ve supported and encouraged me in some of the hardest moments lately and I’m so freaking pumped to support and encourage you as you get ready to go on an adventure of a lifetime!

"#1 Matt James fan right here!"

On Friday, Matt was announced as the first-ever Black lead in the history of The Bachelor.

After fans and Bachelor alumni signed a petition for ABC to cast a black male lead for the upcoming season of The Bachelor, it was announced on Good Morning America that the North Carolina native was chosen.

Matt, a real estate broker, was meant to be a contestant for Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette.

Matt has racked up over 181,000 Instagram followers by frequently posting with fan-favorite Bachelorette alumni Tyler Cameron and Hannah.

Tyler and Matt live together in New York City and run ABC Food Tours – which strives to “feed, educate and give back” to kids in low-income communities.

Tyler is currently quarantining at his home in Jupiter, Florida with Matt and other friends.
