The beginning of a new week brings with it drama aplenty down in the land of the soap, and this week is one that you’re going to want to tune in for!
Yasmeen Nazir’s (Shelley King) trial finally arrives in Coronation Street, but as evil Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) paints her as a violent alcoholic, is all hope lost? Or will justice ultimately prevail?
Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) continues to antagonise just about everyone in EastEnders, and as the week comes to a close, he’s left for dead, but just who is responsible?
Meanwhile, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) hears from Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) in Emmerdale, and Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) is exposed in Hollyoaks.
Yasmeen’s trial commences in Coronation Street
Yasmeen’s trial kicks off, and it’s safe to say that she is nervous. Evil Geoff commences his signature manipulation, as he takes the witness box and depicts Yasmeen as a violent alcoholic. Yasmeen is horrified by his lies.
Linda and Max kiss in EastEnders
Linda attempts to recreate a date she and Mick had when they were 12, but when his reaction leaves her devastated, she reaches for the bottle. However, Max attempts to stop her from drinking, and the two share another kiss — which Ian sees!
Laurel and Jai head for a scan in Emmerdale
Laurel and Jai head for a private scan, and the sonographer predicts that Laurel is thirteen weeks pregnant, and a senior consultant explains that it’s likely that the baby will have a type of chromosomal syndrome.
Cher is in danger in Hollyoaks
The next McQueen sin is revealed, Sylver fears it’s about Cher. He desperately tries to find the cash to pay off the blackmailer and protect her secret. Unfortunately for Cher, her secret is the least of her worries, as she finds herself in deadly danger when she unknowingly comes face-to-face with Silas!
Elaine is found in Coronation Street
Having finally located Elaine, Tim visits her in hospital and apologises for ever disbelieving that she was his his mother. However when he asks her to give evidence at the trial, how will she react?
Mick is haunted by the past in EastEnders
Mick and Katy visit the care home where he grew up. Katy is nervous about what the visit could trigger, but Mick is determined to get answers. When they arrive, they find the care home boarded but Mick doesn’t give up and once inside, old memories come flooding back.
Charity hears from Vanessa in Emmerdale
Charity receives a letter from Vanessa, and is left devastated. However, she’s got other problems to deal with, as Moira tears a strip off her for the way she’s behaving around Noah. With Moira having left, a heartbroken Charity opens up about what Vanessa has done.
Juliet is exposed in Hollyoaks
Marnie knows full well that Juliet is a drug dealer, but James has remained in the dark about what his little sister has been getting up to — that is, until now. After the initial shock sets in, he devises a plan to free her from evil Victor’s clutches.
Oliver’s memorial takes place in Coronation Street
Leanne arranges Oliver’s memorial in Victoria Gardens. As the service arrives, Tracy worries that there’s no sign of Steve. Steve visits Oliver’s old room in the hospital only to find it now occupied by another very poorly child.
Ian is attacked in EastEnders
As the week comes to an end, all is still in The Queen Vic, and Ian lies motionless on the floor. The question is: who attacked him?
