Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter has welcomed a baby boy, she has revealed.
The actress, who plays Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, shared her happy news on social media, posting a snap of she and fiancé Ollie Piotrowski leaving the hospital with their little one.
‘Welcome to the family’, she wrote on Instagram. ‘Our baby boy .. forest,’ she added, confirming that the couple had named their son Forest.
Jorgie’s Hollyoaks co-stars were quick to react to the news, with Cleo McQueen actress Nadine Mulkerrin writing: ‘Congratulations darling xxx welcome earthside Forest.’
Stephanie Waring, meanwhile, who plays Cindy Cunningham on the Channel 4 soap, added: ‘Awww huge congratulations to you both welcome to the world baby Forest! So happy for you… now the fun really begins!”
Jessica Fox, who plays Nancy, wrote: ‘Massive congratulations to all of you and welcome to the world Forest! You are SO loved!’
Jorgie recently went on maternity leave and her exit scenes as Theresa will air next week.
The popular character tells boyfriend Romeo Nightingale, played by I’m A Celebrity runner-up Owen Warner, that nothing has been right since she set foot back in the eponymous village, and thus she decides that it’s time for clean break.
In other words, it’s time to say goodbye.
Subsequent scenes see the couple share a heartfelt farewell, as Theresa leaves Hollyoaks once more.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 7pm on E4, or stream first look episodes daily on All4.
