SNT fans mock Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly over Anne-Marie birthday blunder

Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left pointing out a slight blunder on the show, as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly celebrated singer Anne-Marie's birthday.

The singer took to the stage to perform her new track Birthday, while this week's guest presenter Rob Brydon claimed to the hosts some false information.

He incorrectly informed them that it was her big day, causing them to rush out and get her a giant cake and card for the occasion.

Not only that, the presenters got the audience to sing Happy Birthday to her live on air.

She quickly interrupted the guys though, dropping the news they'd got her birthday wrong.

Fans of the show had already pointed this out though, with her actual date of birth being April 7.

Of course it was all a bit of fun, and wasn't actually blunder.

It was all part of a hilarious sketch on the live show, with Ant and Dec clearly a part of it.

This didn't stop viewers taking to Twitter though, failing to find it amusing.

Many were left pointing out their apparent mistake.

One fan commented: "*not her actual birthday* #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

Another said: "ffs @antanddec it's just a song called birthday, her actual birthday isn't until the 7th april."

A third tweeted: "#SaturdayNightTakeawayIt is in fact NOT Anne Marie's birthday."

This was echoed by a fourth fan who commented: "'It's my birthday' but it's not her birthday."

Saturday Night Takeaway continues live on Saturdays on ITV.
